In a corner of a field in just outside Whitby, quite unexpectedly, the Circus has arrived.

A bell tent camp just for two. Like our other camps the bed is super comfy and cosy with a 16 Tog duvet, Egyptian cotton sheets, and towels provided. The setting is off-grid, isolated and surrounded by nature, but this one’s a bit different. You share your tent with ‘Jimmy’ the fairground galloper, the off-grid shower is hot and delicious but is set in a hall of mirrors, and your compost loo is a coconut shy!

There’s an outdoor kitchen with hob, fridge and all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery you need – but the kitchen is a rifle range and you can hook a duck while you’re doing the washing up.

There are comfy rocking chairs on the deck, inviting you to roll up, roll up and a firepit to cosy round at the end of the day with a hanging cooking plate to try your hand at fire cooking.

Circus only has a double bed provided, but has plenty of space if you want to bring a camp bed or travel cot and bring the kids along.

Please note Circus does not have a log burner; but it does have a lovely thick duvet, blankets, hot water bottles and an outdoor firepit.
